Achievements Of S.K.V.E.S. Alumni

1)    1) The Advisory Committee is fully operational now. The alumni is already starting to use the advisory committee at its best. The committee has already given some of its best advices to our alumni by guiding them in selecting various colleges and branches this academic year. Seniors of our alumni are also trying out their best in guiding their juniors in the right manner.

2)    2) One of our main goal is to be in contact with each other regularly. This is turning out to be a golden goal. This is the most successfully achieved goal for the alumni till date. Many have started speaking to their friends whom they had thought that they would never meet them again. It is exciting to see that even juniors are starting speaking to their seniors and vice versa.  The whole alumni is being in regular contact with each other via phone calls, text messaging and e mail. Adding a new feather to its cap, the alumni has created a community in a social networking website called “Orkut”. This community has already got a huge response from the alumni. The community has already got 50 members to it, within 8 Months of its launch. The community is created by Bhargav (Batch 2002-03) and he himself moderates it. The community allows its members to post and participate in various discussions and polls. And the alumni is already actively participating in it. We believe that being in regular contact with friends makes the person to achieve greater heights as it helps one to get various suggestions and a way to share ones feelings.

3)    3) There is an unanimous opinion in the alumni that we should meet at least twice a year. The alumni has come to a decision now. The alumni will have a regular meet in the months of  April - May. We have also decided to have a second meet every year during school day itself. The alumni has promised us that they would turn out in large numbers during these meets. Its very encouraging to see that the alumni has understood the importance of these kind of regular meets.

4)   4)  There is also a streak of social responsibility to our goals. And we think it is very much required for our alumni. About 40% of the alumni has already submitted the membership forms. And more membership forms will be coming in soon. These membership forms have the details about the blood groups of our alumni. The alumni has pledged that they would come out voluntarily to donate blood whenever there is an urgent need of blood to our fellow alumni members. We hope nothing serious happens to our alumni and if in case something drastic happens the alumni is ready to help them out.

5)    5) There are still several goals that have to be achieved by our alumni. Some of the goals will be achieved in phase manner. And some other goals will take some time to pick up. Due to shortage of time and various other work loads some of the goals are yet to pick up. But, we promise you that these goals will be achieved very shortly and successfully.
