Great news for all the Alumni of S.K.V.E.S., who are doing their Engineering. The S.K.V.E.S. Alumni Association (SAA) offers you an opportunity to discuss about your project proposals.
We have decided to support one project application every year. Engineering/any Graduation students who have an idea of doing an Independent project, but unable to move forward because of lack of Technical, Moral and Financial support can utilise this opportunity. We invite all interested Alumni to learn more about the program listen to comments and ask any questions you might have.
What kind of project does SAA support?
SAA provides Technical and Financial support for the projects irrespective of your Engineering Branch.
Who Can Apply?
Alumni of S.K.V.E.S. who are doing their engineering (final, pre final and second year) can ask for project support. You have to come forward with your own group. And the group should have 3 members (minimum 2 members from our Alumni) in it. SAA does not accept project applications from individuals or any other corporate firm or government institution.
Basic Assumptions.
Before committing to projects, we make the following basic assumptions:
• All the Alumni can and will make contributions and share risks.
• Both SAA and students have common interests and can see an emerging win-win situation.
• No rocket science – we appreciate the challenge in developing existing technologies for new applications.
Our Contributions
We will contribute by allocating time, sharing know-how. We provide all possible technical facilities and clean rooms. The financial support for your project will also be given. The scale of financial support will be decided on your project proposal.

Stage One: Concept Notes
1. Students are invited to complete an application.
2. The deadline for submitting the application is November 14th 2010.
3. SAA will review the Concept Notes in the context of programme criteria and current priorities. Only some applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal. Decisions will be taken by November 21st 2010.
Stage Two: Full Proposals
4. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal (Synopsis) by the deadline of November 30th 2010.
5. Full proposals will be studied during December 2010 and final decisions communicated to applicants by the end of December 2010.
